Two times work best for a family photoshoot in Aruba: sunset sessions and morning sessions. Each option offers a different style and atmosphere for your photos. Sunset Photoshoots: Sunset is usually the best time for lighting. The light becomes softer and warmer, creating beautiful tones and colors in the sky. Sunset sessions typically start around 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM, depending on the time of year, since the sun sets at slightly different times throughout the year. If you are looking for photos that feel a little more moody, warm, and colorful, sunset is often the perfect time, Aruba is known for its beautiful sunsets. Morning Photoshoots Morning sessions are also a great option. The best time for a morning shoot is usually around 8:00 AM, when the temperature is still comfortable. However, we understand that waking up early while on vacation in Aruba can sometimes be difficult. I usually do not recommend starting later than 9:30 AM, because the sun becomes very strong and the wind can also increase. One advantage of morning sessions is that the ocean often appears a brighter blue, which can create very vibrant photos. Morning sessions can sometimes make it easier for people to squint their eyes, so it’s always good to consider what works best for your family and schedule.

Once you select your favorites, the final edited images will be delivered within 10 business days after your selection through the same gallery link. No. RAW (unedited) images are not included in the standard package. After your session, you will receive a preview gallery where you can view and select your favorite images. Please note that these preview images are not available for download and are used only for selection purposes. You will receive 30 professionally digital edited images of your selection to capture the best family moments. If you would like to receive all the photos taken during the session, you can add the RAW files add-on for an additional price, which includes all unedited images from your proposal, along with your edited photos.

Yes! If you fall in love with more images, you can absolutely purchase additional edited photos after viewing your preview gallery. You have the option to purchase individual images for $15 per photo, each professionally edited to match the quality of your selected images. For a better value, you can also choose from our bundles. No worries at all. As a family photographer, I’m very used to working with children and keeping the session relaxed and fun. We use simple prompts, movement, and natural interactions so the photos feel authentic rather than forced. Some of the best photos actually happen in between poses, when kids are simply being themselves.

Fortunately, Aruba rarely experiences long periods of rain. In most cases, if it does rain, it usually lasts only 10–15 minutes and then quickly clears up. Interestingly, a little rain can sometimes lead to even more beautiful sunsets, creating dramatic skies and amazing colors for photos. Only in very rare cases (about 1% of sessions) do we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather. If there is a storm or unsafe weather conditions, we can easily reschedule the photoshoot for another time during your trip. For this reason, I always recommend booking your photoshoot earlier in your vacation, so we have flexibility to adjust if needed. 🌴📸

To secure your family photoshoot in Aruba, a 30% deposit is required to reserve your date through our secure online booking system. This deposit confirms and blocks your selected time slot. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the photoshoot. Cancellation Policy If something unexpected happens such as illness or an emergency, you will receive a full refund of your deposit if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled photoshoot. Please note that no-shows are non-refundable. In the rare case that the photographer needs to cancel due to illness or an emergency, you will receive a full refund of your deposit the same day. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep the session scheduled, the photographer may arrange a trusted professional photographer to conduct the photoshoot, while I remain fully in charge of the editing and delivery of your photos. There will be no additional cost to you, and I will handle all coordination and payment with the substitute photographer.
